Got to work today, all alone. Apparently everyone else is either working at the summer youth program or on vacation or just not coming in till later. Decided it was time to crank the music. I created a punk rock station on Pandora with Tribe 8 and it started me out with "Frat Pig."

"Frat Pig / It's called / Gang rape! Let's plaaa-aay... GANG CASTRATE!"

Don't you miss them? It makes me all nostalgic and weepy inside.

Seriously! Because I'm leaving this place, where I learned so much stuff about setting boundaries and claiming my power and also getting to know people and also counseling and whatnot. And I've been working for the agency as a whole for like two and a half years, because before this I was relief staff at Mandana. Which might be screwed, if Arnie approves a budget that takes money away from social services. And by screwed, I mean CLOSED.

And I left that time in my life where it's all punk rock screaming and extreme, unworkable, very attractive positions on simple matters. And soon I will be leaving singlehood! And I need to keep committing and following through on expanding my business, and I have another interview today, and it is all uncertainty and growth. Both of which, just at this moment, I hate! Okay, not really. But what am I, Schroedinger's cat?

Also, just for the record: Been working here for a year and a half. Work in an office with only 7 other people. Still don't know hardly anyone's extensions.

Wow, Pandora just made a really strong argument for the Yeah Yeah Yeahs being punk music. Kudos, Pandora.
